Between Art Nouveau and Brutalism

Prague’s modern 20th-century architectural exploits often remain in the shadow of the city’s grand Gothic and Baroque buildings.

Description

The Brutalist glass façade of the National Theatre’s Nová Scéna (New Stage), the hexagonal Kotva Department Store, and notable buildings from other modern periods, including the Dancing House, Municipal House (a pearl of the Art Nouveau style), and Mánes Gallery.
