The House Signs of the Lesser Town and the Stories They Tell
The 246 house signs that have been preserved in Prague tell the story of 400 years in the life of the city and its inhabitants.
Description
Hear the stories of the two suns, three fiddles and a blue eagle. Fifteen Lesser Town house signs will take you back to the lives of the master craftsmen who made instruments for the musicians of the Loreto church, to the three kings who became three musketeers, and you will learn how many buildings in the Lesser Town bear the symbol of an eagle, a lion or a rose.
Tour route: Hradčany Square (Masaryk statue) (1) - Nerudova Street (2) - Sněmovní Street (3) - Wallenstein Square - Tomášská Street (4) - Josefská Street (5) - Maltese Square (6) - Karmelitánská Street (7) - Lesser Town Square (8)

- Meeting point: in front of the statue of Masaryk on Hradčany Square
- End of the road: Lesser Quarter Square
- Please note: The tour includes only the walk; entrance fees to individual sites are not included. The route is suitable in any weather, as well as after dark.
