Architecture 58–89

Get to know the stories and destinies of buildings that rose against the times!

Description

In the second half of the twentieth century, the capital city of the then socialist Czechoslovakia was subject to unprecedented development. The politically conditioned artistic doctrine of the time clashed with the influences of modern architectural trends, which flew like a master of the winds through Europe. Thanks to this, a range of original buildings appeared in Prague, which earned their creators an international reputation. Therefore, together with Vladimir 518, a popular artist, rapper and author of a unique publication on architecture from the years 1958-89, we are seeking to destigmatise these still unappreciated works. Get more closely acquainted with the buildings in question, accompanied by an official Prague guide.
